How to setup your gift cards
⚠️ Read the setup part very carefully, it is the most important part.
When launching GaneshBot, it will automatically create a /giftcards
folder inside the GaneshBot
folder, on your desktop. This folder will contain 4 different .csv files, which are meant to be used per window.
So, Footsites.Giftcards.1.csv
is supposed to be used with your first GaneshBot window, Footsites.Giftcards.2.csv
with your second GaneshBot window, and so on.
Be careful!
Do NOT change the files names
As an example, let's open the first file and see how to setup your gift cards in it. As always when handling .csv files with Ganesh, please use Ron's Editor to open the file (Footsites.Giftcards.1.csv). You will see an example of a gift card so you know how to input yours.
Input your gift cards. You can leave the BALANCE
field blank or you can input the balance yourself if you know it (do not input 0, unless you know the balance is 0$). You can leave the LAST CHECKED
field blank. All of these fields will be updated when you run the gift cards checker. Your final list should look like this (with unique gift cards obviously):
Tip
If you have your gift cards in a gc:pin
format, you can follow this video to quickly import them in the right format.
Do this for the 4 files or less based on the number of windows you usually run. If you run 3 windows, update the first 3 files. It is highly recommended to split your gift cards and run unique ones in each file.
The initial setup is all done here, now let's see how to check the gift cards' balance.
How to check your gift cards and update their balance
Using CLI
To update your balance, open your CLI and access your settings by inputting the number corresponding to Configure Settings. You should see something similar to this:
Next, input the number corresponding to Check Footsites Giftcard Balances, as highlighted in the screenshot above.
You will be prompted with your proxy lists. Select the proxy list you want to use to check your balance (needs to be US IPs).
Remember!
Keep in mind that here, as you can see in the title of the window, it is window number 1, therefore it will check for the Footsites.Giftcards.1.csv
file. If you want to check the Footsites.Giftcards.3.csv
file for example, you would need to open 3 GaneshBot windows.
After letting the checker run, it will display your results:
Once this is done, you can close GaneshBot CLI. Your Footsites.Giftcards.1.csv
file will be updated:
You can do this for all your gift cards files. We recommend to run the checker a day or 2 before a release.
To start using the gift cards, check the next part of the article.
Using GUI
To update your gift cards using GUI, open the GUI and create a fake task on one of the available US Footsites. The important part is that you input CHECK
in the product field, as shown in the screenshot below. Then, select a proxy group and you're good to go.
Hit the create button. You can then launch your task and it will check for the gift cards in your Footsites.Giftcards.1.csv
file (or the 2, 3 or 4th one if you're opening more than 1 window). Let it run and it will display the final results, such as:
Your .csv file will be updated as well:
You can do this for all your gift cards files by just opening the windows you need. We recommend to run the checker a day or 2 before a release.

How to run for a release with gift cards
Using CLI
To pay with gift cards when running for a release using CLI is super easy. You just need to input GIFTCARD
in the MODE
field.
Note
You can combo the GIFTCARD
mode with other US Footsites existing modes, such as SKIP
for example: SKIP,GIFTCARD
Using GUI
To pay with gift cards when running for a release using GUI, you need to check the Use GiftCard Pool box when creating your tasks, such as:
And that's it. Your GUI tasks will now be using your gift card pools.
Remember!
If you are running tasks on window number 1, it will use file Footsites.Giftcards.1.csv
. Window 2 will then be using, Footsites.Giftcards.2.csv
and so on.
